    The Need Continues to Rise

    Hunger Knows No Boundaries

With input from school social workers and administrators, children at risk of
having nothing to eat over the weekend are identified and given a Twigs Pack-a-Sack to take home. Volunteers assemble
and deliver the food sacks that school employees distribute at the end of the school day every Friday. To avoid
embarassing the children, bags are discretely placed inside their backpacks. A month’s supply of weekend meals costs
    $20 per child.

    Bethalto Pack-a-Sack

Rain Hail Sleet or Snow can’t stop the Twigs ladies.

These 2 ladies and their students at Bethalto University are rockin the Twigs Pack-a-Sack program. Can't say enough good about the work they are doing to make a difference in the lives of children at risk of having nothing to eat.
    Thank you Meghan and Amy.

    Cub Scouts - Pack 5

    Kids Feeding Their Friends

We have many, many people who help pack bags. One of the coolest is our partnership with Pack 5. Every three weeks 10-12 little boys come to help. They are AWESOME!!!

    A Badge-worth of Mac n Ramen

No one can collect Mac n Cheese and Ramen Noodles like the Girl Scouts. Each year at their fall dance the girls bring both to help us feed the children. Two years ago this badge was designed to honor their efforts. Grateful for their BIG hearts!
